Interim Pastor Roger Knox
Studying through Acts
Messages are typically recorded and posted to Scotts Mills Friends Meeting YouTube channel by mid-late afternoon, early evening on Sundays.
Circumstances don’t circumvent God’s control.
While we are currently compelled to limit the number of people to less than 25, maintain physical distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic, we take comfort in the knowledge that God is not limited to space, or time! His love and grace supersede all conditions.
This is a season when God is calling each one of us to spend time with Him, to reconnect, recharge and grow spiritually as individuals. Our prayer for you is that your relationship with God is deepening and strengthening as you lean on the Holy Spirit for peace, joy, wisdom and guidance.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 He has opened the door to us inviting each one of us into a direct, personal relationship with Him. Think about it: You have the fantastic, incredible, almost unimaginable opportunity to personally know your Creator! The Creator of all things seen and unseen, known and unknown. God is sovereign! He knows exactly what is happening in your live; your feelings and thoughts as well as what you’re doing – even before you know what you’re going to think of do!
He loves you! Do you know Him, do you believe in Jesus the Son of God?
If you need to reach out to someone please send an email to smf.leadership@gmail.com Jesus said, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7-8 Jesus is the one who calms the storms of the troubled soul. Jesus is the one who is able to keep us in perfect peace. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 …open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Me. Acts 26:18 God will keep the mind that is dependent on Him in perfect peace for it is trusting in Him. Isaiah 26:3
Mission Statement: Ephesians 4:15 Speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the head, that is, Christ.
Scotts Mills Friends Vision:
-That we will be new creations of the Lord Jesus Christ, living for God by the power of the Holy Spirit.
– God is the only solution to our problems. Jesus came so we could have Life, real life. Eternal life that starts now and overflows with joy, peace, and love — love for God, love for our families, love for our community and world — because we are His dearly beloved.
Scotts Mills Friends teaches Jesus and His Word in a world full of hurts, despair, loneliness and fear. We look to the Bible for guidance and depend on the Holy Spirit who loves to transform lives, who instructs, guides and comforts us, bringing the peace that only comes through relationship with God made possible through the redemption of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Oct 18 No fear, no anger Isaiah 41:10, 13; Genesis 3:8-18 Fear often escalates into anger and casting blame on others. Uncontrolled anger becomes rage which can ends in violence. Fear is a result of sin. Instead of allowing fear and anger to take hold we need to Admit our wrong, Repent, then Trust God and His love and forgiveness. When “ART” happens God can make beauty from the ashes.
